In and Around Catz Newton Cambridge Town and Gown 10k run On Sunday the 20 October, Muscular Dystrophy UK will be holding the much awaited Newton Cambridge Town and Gown 10k run. The scenic route takes runners through the heart of Cambridge passing many landmarks, historic University College buildings and along the River Cam. The event is fully organised by Muscular Dystrophy UK and the proceeds will go towards our cause of fighting muscle-wasting conditions by finding treatments, cures and campaigning for independent living for 70,000 children and adults. We rely on supporters and volunteers to continue our fight. The Town and Gown events are not possible without the support of willing volunteers and it would be fantastic to have members of St. Catharine’s College supporting us at the event in various roles, such as helping out at our information tent, giving out goodie bags, marshalling the route or manning the water stations. Volunteers are asked to attend from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm and will receive food and drink on the day. To find out more information about our volunteer roles or to register to volunteer at the event, please follow this link. Please let Taylor Froehlich know if you have any questions about volunteering at email@example.com. Your support would be much appreciated and could change lives.
